As we anticipated, there is an important agenda in the local Judo at Club San Martín, and which will increase in the second half of the year. As is known in the Club, Judo classes are given on Tuesdays and Thursdays, segmented into ages, ranging from 4 to 7 years old, from 8 to 14 years old, and over 14 years old.
The result of this intense activity is that the three judokas who competed in the classification of the Buenos Aires Youth tournaments, Alma Falco, Valentín Heit and Fausto Vitale, after passing the local and regional stages, all three are classified for the finals of said tournament. to be held from October 1 to 6 in the city of Mar del Plata.
In line with the work and the formulated objectives, Professor Santiago Falco reported that there are high expectations for this coming Saturday, September 3, with a double day of Judo at the Club headquarters.
At 11 am the Escuelita Tournament and Judokitas meeting will be held in its 4th edition, where medals are awarded to all the participants who will come from different parts of the province. Later in the afternoon, there will be a class/exhibition by the Technical Director of the national Judo team, Master Ariel Sganga, renowned Olympic Judoka, Pan-American medalist, world champion and current president of the FBJ.
As reported, the referent of Games Tournaments, and Secretary of FBJ, Fabián González, as well as the Director of Training of the FBJ, Marcelo Vilasek, will also be present.
Finally, Falco announced that their presence has already been confirmed by Dojos from Junín, Rojas, Chacabuco, Chivilcoy, Mar del Plata, Judo del Oeste, and Clubs from the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
