I don’t even have Adolf Šádek for a ride, says Slavist boss Tvrdík. What does he say to Trpišovský’s critics?

Slavia Prague is under fire from critics. There could be several reasons. However, many fans are running out of patience with Jindřich Trpišovský, who constantly rotates the lineup and puts players in positions where they shouldn’t play. However, club boss Jaroslav Tvrdík has a clear message. He also commented on the comparison with Viktoria Plzeň.

While Viktoria Plzeň is praised for the excellent work of the club’s management despite financial problems, Prague’s Slavia has come under fire from critics. He is having a not-so-great start to the season and you can tell in Europe.

On Thursday, stitching was not enough for Poland’s Rakow Czenstochová. The performance really wasn’t good. In addition, coach Jindřich Trpišovský became a lightning rod for all criticism because of his decisions.

Analyst Jakub Konečný na Twitter noted that Slavia is the only team from the Czech TOP 3 that regularly sells its best and key players. And every six months, maybe even after two.

His contribution was noticed by Slavist boss Jaroslav Tvrdík, who explained why the Prague team is adopting such a strategy in the first place: “It will be ‘probably’ because the income from the Czech league is the problem of existing, not building a successful international club.”

To defend the Slavic strategy, Tvrdík used, for example, Greek clubs that sell TV rights for 8-10 million euros, as a result of which they do not have to sell. However, he also mentioned the state support that clubs in Poland and Hungary receive.

Later, however, one of the fans responded to how Pilsen is doing, which is not doing well financially. And what about Tvrdík? “I’ve also experienced great adventures in my life, but even I don’t have Adolf Šádek’s ride. I wish him all the best, but if it didn’t come out this year, it would be the last.”

The boss of Slavia also says that the Prague club emphasizes the balance of financial and sporting goals. “We don’t owe anyone and our cash position is secured long in advance. I guess,” he added.

Tvrdík also reports that there is also a problem in the fact that the best Czech clubs can offer players an annual income in millions of crowns gross, while for example Belgian teams can offer a million euros in net without any problems. So the players have a clear idea of what to choose.
