The German Judo Federation has nominated 19 judoka for the World Championships from Thursday, October 6th to Wednesday, October 12th in Uzbekistan’s capital, Tashkent. The title fights were originally supposed to start this month. Two women from the Bundesliga squad of JSV Speyer start for their home clubs.
Mascha Ballhaus is making her World Championship debut for TV Eilbeck (Hamburg) in the class up to 52 kilograms. Nadja Bazynski (up to 63 kilos) competes for Bayer Leverkusen. There are also other foreign judo of the JSV.
