Daniil Medvedev will appear in the ranking ATP next Monday, August 15 as number 1 in the world, in what will be a historic milestone in the official ranking of men’s tennis. And it is that no one, since the current scoring formula was adopted in 2009, has ever reigned with less than 7,000 points. The Russian will do so with a total of 6,885 points in his locker, thus becoming the number 1 that has needed the fewest points to be so.
on monday the 15th medvedev will be the first ever world#1 with less than 7000 points since the 2009 ranking system
