Soccer national league: will the away turn succeed? – Regional

Only one point away

TSV Mönchröden recently celebrated their third home win in a row with a 4-0 win over TG Höchberg. Thus, the monks in the local wildlife park continue to keep their clean slate. Away, on the other hand, the team coached by Thomas Hüttl is still struggling. The promoted team only gained one point from the first three away games. Now the first away three should come against TuS Röllbach.

However, the game against last year’s second in the state league will not be an easy task for the monks. Even the long journey is already a challenge for Thomas Hüttl’s players. After all, the journey time is about two and a half hours. For the coach, this is motivation enough: “We don’t want to be on the road all day and then go home empty-handed.”

In order for this to succeed, Hüttl, like last week against TG Höchberg, demands that his men throw everything into the balance: “We have to go back to our limits physically and mentally in order to have a chance.” expect a balanced game. After all, only two points separate the two teams.

TSV Mönchröden (line up): J. Köhn – Lauerbach, Scheler, L. Köhn, Salaske, Holzheid, Puff, Hartmann, Engel, Jungkunz, Pleiner, Ehrlich, Kreuz, Göhring. – It lacks: Stedefeld, Späth, Beichel, Biemann, Knauer, Ciray, Stammberger, Schad, Schneider, Bonengel, Bayersdorfer, Engelhardt.

The zero must stand

SV Friesen, on the other hand, is still waiting for the first point abroad. There have been two defeats in two away games so far. “We don’t want to go home empty-handed and have to get something away from home,” says coach Peter Reichel. The opponent of DJK Dampfach is an offensively strong climber who “acts with an incredible amount of speed.” Reichel looked at Dampfach’s guest performance in Mönchröden – and was impressed. “That was really good for a climber.”

Five players are not available to the Franconian Forest due to work or vacation. “The failures are of course heavy losses for us. Nevertheless, I am convinced that the other guys will do well.”

As in the 1-0 derby win against the favored neighbors Coburg, there is a clear key to success for the Friesen coach: “It is important that, like last time, the zero is at the back.”

SV Friesen (line up): Bauerschmidt/ETW Hopf – Pflaum, Schülein, Altwasser, Stuhlmann, J. Müller, F. Müller, Nassel, Gerold, L. Bachinger, Daumann, Fehn, Renk, Hergenröther. – Something is missing: Riedel, Baier, Schorn, Graf, Firnschild.
