he provincial finals of the Fuegian Sports Games took place on the weekend where some disciplines specified the representatives of Tierra del Fuego in the Evita National Games that will be held in Mar del Plata next October.
Judo
On Saturday at the CEPAR located in the 640 dwellings neighborhood of our city, the provincial finals of Judo were held, where the athletes fought in preliminary rounds, seeking their pass to the final of each of the divisions by weigh-in, and from this way to obtain the long-awaited ticket to the next Evita National Games.
With three-minute fights, around thirty judokas from all over the province sought to be crowned champions of the Fuegian Provincial Games, on the tatami of the High Performance Provincial Center, under the supervision of the Fuegian Judo Federation, who gave it a great framework. to this event and were also able to evaluate the next provincial representatives.

Artistic gymnastics
This Saturday in the city of Río Grande, with the presence of capital and local gymnasts, the provincial instance of this discipline was completed.
The beginning of the contest that took place in the Municipal Artistic Gymnastics Center was in charge of level 1 gymnasts who only performed Floor tests, later the most experienced (level 2) showed their skills in Floor, Parallel, Beam and Jump.
For its part, the male branch with three representatives was present in Jump and Floor.
In this way, Tierra del Fuego already has its representatives in the next Evita Games in Mar del Plata.

Basketball U-15 and 17
The finals of the matches corresponding to the U-15 and U-17 categories of women’s and men’s basketball were played.
The day took place in the gymnasium of Colegio Hapen and first it was the turn of the U-15 girls from Universitario Río Grande who faced Club de Amigos from our city. The locals showed a wide advantage and the match ended with 62 points for Río Grande and 15 for the visitors from the provincial capital.
Then came the second match of the afternoon with the match played by Yoppen de Río Grande against Club de Amigos de Ushuaia, also in the U-15 category. The result was favorable to the local team that beat the visitor by 93 points, who could not exceed 49 points.
Hockey rink
This discipline in the U-14 and 16 segments defined the local capital stage last weekend.
In the facilities of the Ushuaia Rugby Club, the girls from the Ushuaia Rugby Club and Club Colegio del Sur came out on the field first, for the U-14 division, where the latter were far superior, leaving a score in their favor by 10 to 2. , being the scorer Luisa Berola with 5 units.
The second crossing through the local square was again between the URC and Club Colegio in the U-16 Ladies, classifying the Tricolor squad to the provincial stage, who knew how to dominate the four halves of the match, leaving the score 7 to 1, Perini and Valeriano were top scorers with three goals each.
