“I’ve been focused on rallying for a number of years now and although I’ll continue to rally, I think it’s time for a change so it’ll be interesting to do something new. Rallycross with electric cars was made and it’s great to be back with KMS. Our relationship started almost ten years ago, so I know these guys quite well. It’s good to work with Johan again. I think he’s the best driver in the world and there’s no doubt that his experience is worth its weight in gold. He has an incredible knowledge of rallycross, so together we’ve built a good package which should give us good results for this season to fight for the top spots. It’s going to be fun and obviously there’s a bit of a rivalry between the Swedes and the Norwegians, so let’s do our best to win that battle.” Ole-Christian Weiby.

“It’s a great feeling to be able to field three cars at the start of the new phase of rallycross. It’s been a huge project to pull everything together, but we’re extremely proud to have done it and it’s a real privilege to work with Bauhaus, “Volkswagen” dealers and former employees of “Volkswagen Motorsport”. We have a lot of experience between us, which I think will be a big advantage because we all have a common goal. The electric era of the RX world is opening doors that were closed until now – opening up better opportunities than before. Obviously there is still a lot to do and we know we have to convince the fans, but to be honest I’m sure it will be a huge event with good battles between very fast drivers, cars and teams,” said Volkswagen. dealer teams Bauhaus the host Tommy Christopherson.

Let us remind you that the new world RX season will start very soon – on August 13-14 in Norway.
