Following the selection event held this weekend at the Echologia site in Louverné near Laval (Mayenne), the federation’s selection committee unveiled the list of archers selected for the championship on Monday. Field World Cup in Yankton (USA).
After a qualifying shot on Saturday and a match phase on Sunday, the selection committee selected 12 athletes. The French team which will participate in the World Field Archery Championship taking place in Yankton (United States) from October 3 to 9 will have the following composition:
- Junior woman recurve bow: Audrey MACHINET (Arcis sur Aube)
- Junior men’s recurve bow: Antoine BALANANT (Esbly), Valentin MORLOT (Perpignan)
- Junior men’s compound bow: François DUBOIS (Rennes)
- Senior Recurve Woman: Manon BERGUIN (Compiègne), Aurélie AUTRET (Live)
- Senior recurve men: Florent MULOT (Draveil Senart)
- Senior woman compound bow: Tiphaine RENAUDIN (Mont Saint Aignan)
- Senior man compound bow: Pierre-Julien DELOCHE (Riom), Quentin BARAER (Rennes)
- Senior woman barebow: Christine GAUTHE (Chenove)
- Senior men barebow: David JACKSON (L’Union)
