INDOSPORT.COM – Inter Milan coach, Simone Inzaghi, actually caused controversy by shifting Andre Onana and installing Samir Handanovic in the Champions League match.

Reporting from Sky Sport Italia, Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi actually made an unpopular decision ahead of the Champions League match against Viktoria Plzen on Tuesday (13/9/22) night WIB.

The controversy was shifting the Cameroonian goalkeeper, Andre Onana, who performed quite well in the Champions League matchday 1 match between Inter Milan vs Barcelona and re-installing the old goalkeeper, Samir Handanovic.

Onana did make his debut in the Champions League match against Bayern Munich, but Simone Inzaghi instead re-installed Samir Handanovic in the Italian League match against Torino.

This has led to speculation that there are plans to rotate goalkeepers and provide equal playing time in the Italian League and Champions League.

Andre Onana is certainly predicted to be able to play in Inter Milan’s match against Viktoria Plzen, but Simone Inzaghi has decided otherwise.

“Andre Onana is the best player we know, like any other player who doesn’t play but can do something for us,” said Inzaghi.

“Of course not, so far as a goalkeeper I have considered and have not communicated with everyone, I will vote again for the Inter Milan match,” added the former Lazio coach.

However, Simone Inzaghi emphasized that the Italian League match between Inter Milan vs Torino was mentioned that everything was focused and calmer.

“But the team is always focused, has to push more people to win more things in the Italian League,” he said.
