The CD Badminton Zamora has returned to the courts with very good feelings and with its players willing to fight to be at the top of the ranking.
Due to the change in the calendar, the seasons now begin in January and end in December, so that, despite not competing since the end of June, the club’s national section has had training sessions in August, and it has been possible to verify that the rhythm of competition has not been lost, performing a very good role in the first competition after the summer.
The players of the club’s sub17 category traveled to Oviedo to participate in the National Master for this category. In the women’s individual, it began with a great game of Natalia Colino, winning in a tight result to 3 sets falling on the side of Zamora. In the decisive match for the passage to the final phase, Natalia could not win against the player seeded n7, despite having a very even result at all times.
In women’s doubles, Aitana Ares and Elena TurielnEither they were lucky enough to win neither of their group matches, losing both to errors in the final points, going into this final part of all sets evenly.
Finally, Eric Casas, with a high-level game, won two of the 3 group stage matches in the mixed doubles modality together with his club mate Natalia Colino, only losing against the pair who would ultimately be champions of the competition. In men’s doubles, together with Gonzalo García, a teammate from CB Laguna, having a complicated draw, they were close to victory on several occasions, not finally achieving it.
