Mathias Pogba presented himself “at the beginning of the afternoon (Wednesday, September 14) to the investigation service and was placed in police custody”, the source told AFP. Of the four suspects heard, one was taken into custody on Tuesday and three on Wednesday, the judicial source said, confirming information from Le Monde.

Following a complaint filed by Paul Pogba on July 16 with the Turin public prosecutor’s office, a preliminary investigation had been opened by the Paris public prosecutor’s office on August 3 “of the heads of extortion in an organized gang and attempted extortion in a gang organization and participation in a criminal association with a view to committing a crime”.
