The tennis player from Corrientes, Brunna Andrade, won the title in the Sub 10 category of the 5th Regional Tennis Championships that took place a few days ago in Curuzú Cuatiá. In the final, the representative of Corrientes Tennis Club defeated Sarah Jiménez from Mercedeña by 7-5, 4-6 and 10-7.
At just eight years old, Brunna participated among older girls in this regional contest organized by the Correntina Tennis Federation (FECOT) and which was played on the clay courts of Club Las Palmas and Sportiva Curuzú.
In this way, the woman from Corrientes reached the classification for the fifth National for Minors, which will be played in Neuquén.
In Curuzú, Brunna was accompanied by her coach Liam Kennedy (from the CTC competition team) and in this way she was able to repeat the achievement achieved in the 4th Regional held in the city of Posadas (Misiones), which allowed her to participate in the month of June of the national tournament for U10 teams that was played in Villa María (Córdoba), finishing in fifth place.
