Corsairs presents its crew for the Professional Basketball League | THE UNIVERSAL

The Corsarios de Cartagena team, led by Carlos Gil, will present its roster this Thursday to face the 2022 season of the Professional Basketball League in the second half of the year, with an event that will take place in the Grupo Área Building, in Bocagrande, from 4 pm.

The Cartagena quintet will play its home games at the Elías Chegwin Coliseum in Barranquilla. Corsarios will debut on Wednesday, September 21 against Tigrillos de Medellín. Cartagena remained in Group A, with Titanes, Caribbean Storm from San Andrés, Búcaros from Bucaramanga and Tigrillos from Medellín. In group B are: Team Cali, Cimarrones de Chocó, Sabios de Manizales, Cóndores de Cundinamarca and Piratas de Bogotá.

In the opening game, on Saturday, September 21, the champion Titanes, led by Cartagena’s Tomás Díaz, faces Tigrillos de Medellín at 8:15 pm.

On Sunday the 22nd, these two teams meet again, but at 8:05 p.m.

The other coaches from Cartagena who will direct this season are Iván García, who took the helm of Caribben Storm from San Andrés and José Tapia with Piratas de Bogotá, with whom he has been champion three times (1999, 2003 and 2014).
