Good news comes from the Prague tatami mat (Czech Republic), home of the Junior European Judo Championships. Ben four medals were won by the Azzurri in one day in which there were four categories involved: -63 kg and -70 kg female; -73 kg and -81 kg male.
In the -63 kg, which saw the success of the Spanish Laura Vazquez Fernandez and the silver of the Israeli Adelina Novitzki, Sara Lisciani has been tinged with bronze. Lisciani has lined up two victories against the Austrian Laura Kallinger and the Polish Agata Palka, before yielding to the Iberian Vazquez Fernandez. Nothing to do instead for Agnese Zucco, defeated by Turkish Ayten Yeksan in the second round. At the repechage, the local athlete managed to beat the Belgian Alessia Corrao and then to break the resistance of the Romanian Florentina Ivanescu. A bronze that the Italian shared with the Croatian Ines Filipovic.
In the -73 kg men arrived two podiums with Luigi Centracchio (silver) e Vincenzo Pelligra (bronze). Centracchio, victorious in his Poll against the Dutch Yarmo Jonk, the Moldovan Andrian Veste and the Czech Petr Mlady, prevailed in the semifinals against the Hungarian Daniel Szegedi. Unfortunately in the final act for the gold, the Azerbaijani Vusal Galandarzade got the better of the blue. Azerbaijani who also decided the path of the other Italian. Scoring against Dutchman Niel Thijssen and Dane Kalle Friis-Hansen, Galndarzade ruled Pelligra in the Pool Final. The blue in the repechage won against the Frenchman Hans-Jorris Ahibo and bent Szegedi in the challenge for the bronze. Third place also for the Kosovar Dardan Cena.

The last medal for Italy came in the -81 kg men where Bright Maddaloni Nosa won silver. A great path for the Italian judoka, capable of defeating the Austrian Bernd Fasching, the Turkish Musa Simsek, the Swiss Aurelien Bonferroni and the Serbian Stefan Zubovic. In the challenge for gold another Azerbaijani representative, Eljan Hajiyev won gold. To complete the picture, in the -70 kg women, came the center of the Spanish Ai Tsunoda Roustant, while the silver went to the Austrian Elena Dengg and the bronzes to the German Sarah Mehlau and the Israeli Maya Kogan.
