*From six years of age to senior citizens can practice it
In order to publicize and promote the discipline of archery, the Cuautla city council, chaired by Rodrigo Arredondo through the Sports Subdirectorate in collaboration with the Archery Association in the State of Morelos, held the exhibition in different categories with members of this group headed by the multi national medalist Máximo Méndez.
The mayor, Rodrigo Arredondo, accompanied by the head of the SMDIF in Cuautla, Araceli García Garnica, witnessed this archery exhibition carried out by the association in conjunction with the State Sports Institute, in which they praised the boys, girls and young people participants by giving their support to promote this discipline in the municipality.
Lod Froyd Méndez Mendoza, president of the Archery Association in the entity, pointed out that this sport has stood out in recent years by obtaining good results and the objective is to promote the discipline in each of the municipalities of the state, in which Cuautla joins this activity, for which he appreciates the hospitality and support of the mayor.
Boys and girls from six years of age to elderly or disabled people can develop this discipline under the training of Professor Martha Ortiz at the facilities of the “José María Morelos y Pavón” sports unit, people interested in practice it can register at the offices of the Sports Subdirectorate from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a recovery fee and obtain the benefits of equipment, instruction and a training area.
