LaLiga has decided to intervene in the racist chants that were heard this Sunday against Vinicius in the outskirts of the Metropolitano and report them to the Anti-Violence Commission so that it acts accordingly. A group of radicals from Atlético yelled “monkey” at the Real Madrid Brazilian striker before the capital derby and during the clash chants of “Vinicius, die!” thundered inside the rojiblanco coliseum.

As usual, the body chaired by Javier Tebas will denounce all the offensive and violent acts that happen on each day because for this it has a delegate in each First field who writes down the incidents of each match. In the next few days, the club management will send a detailed report on what happened in the Madrid derby.

In addition to these racist chants before and during the match, there were also other incidents that Munuera Montero, referee of the match, recorded in the minutes: «In the 18th minute the match was stopped and the protocol established by the RFEF was carried out due to to the launch from the stands of several lighters and empty bottles without hitting any player ». An event that was repeated during the second half, when it was even seen that Courtois approached the referee to hand him another lighter that had been thrown into his area.

There is concern in Spanish football because these events are recurrent, as has already happened, for example, in the 2021 classic or in Son Moix in 2022, also with Vinicius as a victim. Along these lines, last week LaLiga requested the opening of an oral trial against the Espanyol fans who were identified for rebuking Iñaki Williams with racist insults.
