More than 2 million viewers for Verstappen profit, 1.1 million see comeback De Mol | Media

More than 2.1 million people watched on NPO1 on Sunday how Max Verstappen took off with the win at the Grand Prix of the Netherlands in Formula 1. This made the race the most watched program of the day, reports Stichting KijkOnderzoek (SKO).

The race was also shown on streaming service Viaplay. The figures of this service are not provided to SKO. Viaplay could not be reached for comment Monday morning.

The Red Bull driver won the race in Zandvoort for the second year in a row. The world champion was ahead of British Mercedes driver George Russell (second) and Ferrari’s Monegask Charles Leclerc (third). It was Verstappen’s tenth win of the season and his fourth in a row.

Sunday evening Linda de Mol returned to television. The presenter was seen again in Postcode Lottery Million Hunt after she resigned from her work due to accusations against her ex Jeroen Rietbergen. De Mol, who became emotional during her return, managed to attract 1.1 million viewers to SBS6.
