BOLASPORT.COM – Another change has occurred in the lineup of riders who will compete in MotoGP 2023 following the official confirmation that Marco Bezzecchi will remain in Valentino Rossi’s team, Mooney VR46 Racing next season.

Marco Bezzecchi is the only racer rookie or newcomers who climbed the podium in the MotoGP season at the Assen Circuit, the Netherlands. Doa is currently 14th in the MotoGP riders standings after the 2022 San Marino MotoGP race.

Meanwhile, Bezzecchi’s teammate, Luca Marini is known to continue to use VR46. The specs of their future bike are unclear with Bezzecchi currently using a one year old engine and the latest Marini GP22.

Bezzecchi’s official confirmation follows news that Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernandez have joined RNF Aprilia’s new team plus Joan Mir’s move to Repsol Honda.

Oliveira needs a new mount after losing his factory seat at KTM to Jack Miller who will be replaced by Enea Bastianini in the factory Ducati team.

Bastianini has been dueling Jorge Martin for the factory Ducati team seat alongside Francesco Bagnaia for several months. Martin will remain at Pramac, alongside Johann Zarco and continue to receive the latest Desmosedici engines.
