New Taïso and stretching classes offered by the Judo Club of Arradon – Arradon



The Judo Club of Arradon resumes its lessons from Tuesday September 6 at the Gymnase Henri-Le Rohellec, near the Gilles-Gahinet college in Arradon. On Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., judo sessions will be for children aged 5 to 7, then from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for 8 to 12 year olds. It should also be noted that from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., a new taïso and stretching class will be offered for everyone from 12 years old.

Improve your physical potential

“Taïso is a sport of Japanese origin resulting from traditional exercises in preparation for judo”, explains Yann Dody, sixth dan black belt teacher in judo who will teach this modern method. “A discipline that also allows you to improve your physical potential, your cardio-respiratory and psychomotor capacities, but also endurance, balance, or even flexibility and muscle strengthening”, he adds, also specifying that on Fridays, judo lessons from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. will concern young people from 8 to 12 years old. Finally, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., judo sessions for teenagers and adults will be held.
