Justin Jefferson obviously had no intention of slowing down after his first two exceptional seasons in the NFL.
The Vikings receiver had two touchdowns and nine catches for 184 yards to help Minnesota open their season with a 23-7 win over the Green Bay Packers.
His 184 passing yards is a career-best passing in 34 NFL games. His previous mark was 182 passing yards and he set it last year against the Lions. Moreover, 158 of the 184 yards accumulated by Jefferson were amassed in the first half, a record in the organization of the Vikings.

Jefferson scored his first touchdown of the game in the first quarter, before adding a second in the second quarter on a 36-yard pass from Kirk Cousins. This is the 4th time in his career that he has scored two touchdowns in a game. Jefferson also had a 64-yard catch in the game.
Cousins completed 23 passes for 277 yards. The Vikings offense was also bolstered by running back Dalvin Cook, who made 20 carries for 90 yards.
For the Packers, quarterback Aaron Rodgers had 195 yards through the air and completed 22 passes. With a weaker receiver group than last season, Rodgers has had to turn to 10 different receivers. AJ Dillon was the most targeted with five receptions and just 46 yards. Dillon added 45 rushing yards and scored a touchdown.
