Lamar Jackson does not want to play the 2022 season under the specter of a salary renegotiation. The 2019 NFL MVP of the Season told reporters he didn’t want to discuss a contract after Friday.
“The week is not over, but very soon [les pourparlers] will be cut,” said the dynamic number 8.
Jackson and the Ravens begin their season Sunday against the Jets in New York. It will also be the former MVP of Super Bowl 47 Joe Flacco who will be at quarterback for the locals.
Flacco will lead the offense due to the absence of quarterback Zach Wilson who is still recovering from a knee injury suffered during the preseason schedule.
