It had been 509 days since Standard had not won three in a row in the league. And 15 years since Standard had not won in Saint-Trond. An eternity for the Rouches. If the land of canaries is however reputed to be complicated, Ronny Deila’s men finally won 1-2. With this victory, Standard is doing a great job in the general classification.

The end of the match will not change anything despite the possibilities of Saint-Trond (shot in the 93rd notably well stopped by Bodart). Standard wins and wins a third straight victory in the league. The Rouches are provisionally 6th overall. Saint-Trond is 10th with 10 points.
