A Sports Citadel will be born in Iglesias, in via Cavalier San Filippo. Thanks to the funding obtained with the “Sport and Inclusion” call, as part of the PNRR, structures dedicated to 5-a-side football, tennis and padel will be built.
The project, financed for a total amount of 1,497,552.62, provides for the redevelopment of an area of ​​approximately 8,000 square meters, adjacent to the “Ex Casmez” 11-a-side football field and near other public and private facilities dedicated to sports, such as the municipal baseball field, which will also be subject to redevelopment and modernization.
The interventions, in detail, include the realization:
– a 5-a-side football field, equipped with a grandstand for the public in a metal structure;
– an outdoor padel court;
– an indoor padel court, with a metal structure and a corrugated sheet covering
– an outdoor tennis court with resin flooring, equipped with a grandstand for the public in a metal structure
– a play area for children.
– of two buildings, one for warehouse destination, and one, larger, with dining rooms (internal and external room), ancillary rooms, changing rooms (separate for each discipline), an infirmary and administrative offices of the sports citadel.
