An individual sport, archery is also practiced a lot in teams. Thus, during this year 2021-2022, the trophies won by the young people of the Archers de Sévérac-d’Aveyron club bear witness to this. But a new season arriving, note that archery is practiced from 8 years old. During the initiation period, the chosen equipment, bows and arrows, depending on the size and physical abilities of the archer, is made available by the club.
In leisure or competition
The practice of archery promotes exchanges between archers of all ages, it allows you to share moments with friends or family. And able-bodied or disabled archers can meet together on the shooting range, in leisure or in competition. Everyone is welcomed.
Beginner children have their session on Wednesdays, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the Sévérac sports hall. Archers in the U11 category (chicks) in 2nd and 3rd years of practice will train on Wednesdays, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. That same day, the other categories of young people (U13, U15, U18 and U21) and adults (seniors) will meet from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. development will be more coached on Fridays, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
In addition, during these same days and times during the holidays, specific sessions or courses for various audiences with various difficulties, integration, job search and qualification, or even for groups will be offered.
