Children born in 2016 and 2017
For the youngest, the Youth and Sport department of the city of Chartres has devised weekly one-hour sessions dedicated to the discovery of sporting activities in the form of fun games. During these sessions, children aged 5 to 6 will be able to participate in athletics, gymnastics, collective games, etc. These workshops will also allow them to discover the different kinds of balls and rackets. There are 88 places available this year.

Children born in 2014 and 2015
Children aged 7 and 8 will have the opportunity to practice three sports activities during the year, all different depending on the time slot chosen. The different cycles all bring together individual or team sports, to be practiced indoors or outdoors, to offer a wide range of activities to children. There are 100 places available this year.

Children born in 2012 and 2013
For older children, the sports school also offers activities in the form of a cycle, allowing children to discover 3 activities during the school year, in time slots from 1h15 to 1h30. Some disciplines are only accessible to this last age group, like BMX or kayaking. And 72 places are available this year.

You should know that all disciplines are supervised by qualified educators. Sports equipment is lent by the city, but for all activities, each child must imperatively be in sportswear. Registration is done on the family portal of the site of the city of Chartres, for all from this Wednesday, September 7 at 2 p.m. No reservations or registrations will be made by telephone. Rates for an annual cycle: Chartrains: €31, non-Chartrains: €44.50.

Finally, note that the Youth and Sport department of the city has declined its offer of sports activities for adults who can try badminton and ultimate frisbee, as well as fitness sessions.
