The operator of the nightclub where Eden Hazard was does not understand the controversy: “He was the very first of the players to return home”

Eden Hazard has again created controversy in Spain following a video showing him partying in a nightclub. The video was picked up by the daily Sport who was surprised to see the captain of the Red Devils leave two days before the League of Nations match against the Netherlands.

Roberto Martinez had indeed given his players a free evening the Friday before the meeting and a small group, including Hazard, decided to spend the evening at a disco, at the Bloody Louis on Avenue Louise in Brussels. “Hazard complained about his lack of playing time at Real Madrid. But his attitude off the pitch is far from exemplary”then wrote Sport.

However, the manager of the nightclub, Jon Tyler does not understand the controversy: “I regret all these articles on Eden”he told the Nieuwsblad before putting the story in context, “He never usually goes out, it was the first time he visited us. The players just came to let off steam. Eden was in the company of childhood friends and he behaved in an exemplary manner. He was the very first of all the players to return home and took the others with him.”
