The largest state association in judo Germany insists on hosting a top judo tour. On November 1st, the North Rhine-Westphalian Judo Association (NWJV) welcomes young judoists to the sports center of the SUA Witten.
The training is led by our Vice European Champion and Olympic bronze medalist Johannes Frey! At the Olympic Games, he and his brother Karl-Richard made their dream of participating in the Olympics together come true and even won the bronze medal with the mixed team. The two brothers are one unit and so there was no question as to whether Johannes would take over the training from Karl-Richard, who had to cancel due to scheduling reasons.
With Johannes Frey, an absolute world-class athlete awaits you on the tatami. In addition to the successes mentioned, he has three German championship titles and various medals on the international stage. At the Judo Top Tour, the fighter from North Rhine-Westphalia will teach you his favorite techniques on the floor and standing and give you an insight into the life of a competitive athlete.
During the break you can of course get autographs and take selfies with Joahnnes Frey.
