The Azzurre of the women’s national team face Moldova away to earn the qualification pass for the next 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand

Italy presents itself in Moldova with the underdogs, leading group G with 21 points and two points ahead of Switzerland, still in second position. The opponent is certainly not the most formidable, Moldova is in fact the rear of group G and has already been beaten by the Azzurre 3-0 on 17 September thanks to a brace from Cristiana Girelli and a goal from Valentina Giacinti.
