“Aufbruch!”: Startup fair on October 25 in Gladbeck

The Bottroper Starterschmiede and the business development Gladbeck jointly offer a trade fair for founders. On October 25 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., the fair opens for all those interested in founding a company in the Emscher-Lippe region.

The name says it all: “With the offer of this fair we want to support the start into self-employment and stand by the side of prospective founders on their way,” explains Hartmut Förster from the Starterschmiede. Experts are available at various trade fair islands with different focal points to share basic information and to discuss individual questions. In addition to the start-up consultants from the economic development agencies from Bottrop and Gladbeck and start-up coach Petra Lukaschewski (“The Questioner”), the Sparkasse Gladbeck and Volksbank Ruhr Mitte are represented, as well as corporate networks and experts for subsidies.

Tips also for (prospective) university graduates

Multi-channel specialist Julia Schiminski gives tips for (prospective) university graduates who want to set up a start-up company. Kagan Soydan, owner of KS KeySolutions, examines the opportunities and risks of founding a company and reports on his own personal founding experiences. Tax consultant Hans-Georg Friemel examines key aspects of tax and social security issues. All three speakers are also available before and after their presentations for individual questions and constructive exchange.

The idea for the startup fair for the Emscher-Lippe region came about in the course of the successful joint “TuN – Meeting and Networking” events. Instead of a given topic, the focus here is on mutual exchange – a concept that is now also reflected in the trade fair. Visiting the fair is free of charge registration is asked.
