Then a fierce fight against Miguel Oliveira. After trying to overtake both at the final corner, the Red Bull KTM driver stayed ahead and won the race just ahead of the Australian. Jack Miller said, “We devoured 2 laps in the warm-up session in the pouring rain. It’s stressful. In general, I was quite fast in every first session when it rained. In the middle sector around Turn 5, I lost a bit. Miguel is really super fast there. I almost feel a little stiff there.”
JackAss still has a chance in the standings to be at least 3rd place. Miller is now in 5th place, 40 points behind leader Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) who failed to score in Buriram. Aleix Espargaro who is ranked 3rd is only 20 points ahead of Jack. 75 points will still be up for grabs in the remaining three races in 2022.

“I was very strong in the first part, I was able to brake very well after the straight. I feel very good. But we lacked a few heavy transfers, we put too much weight on the tires,” continued Miller, who will marry his fiancee Ruby Adriana at the end of the 2022 season.
