Meghan Markle on Serena Williams’ Dramatic Moment: ‘She Was Exhausted’

Recently, during a podcast, Meghan Markle, close friend of Serena Williams, spoke about the reckless behavior of medical staff, including her nurse who called her crazy.

Serena has experienced several health issues over the years, including blood clots. Meghan said: “Serena has a history of blood clots and felt very unwell after the C-section.

She was out of breath and starting to lose feeling in her legs. Her nurse told her: I think all these drugs are making you talk like crazy. Fortunately, she finally received the life-saving care she needed.

But my God, it took too long. She wants to be heard, and so many women do. Especially women of color. The stakes are high.” In 2011, Serena suffered a pulmonary embolism, a condition in which blood clots traveling from different parts of the body cause blockage of the pulmonary artery in the lungs.

She had to undergo emergency surgery.
