NBA star brutally beats his own teammate – and gets mega box offer

There has rarely been such a violent action in the NBA. A video has leaked from Golden State Warriors practice showing All-Star Draymond Green clashing with young Warriors guard Jordan Poole.

After an argument, Green tackles his teammate, initially cautiously. Poole then tries to push Green off of him. But then Green knocks his teammate down with a totally unexpected and brutal punch.

Draymond Green finds behavior ‘shameful’

After the incident became known, Green said he would stay away from his team until further notice and train individually. Green spoke of a mistake and apologized for his behavior. It was “shameful” to see the video.

It is currently unclear whether and when Green, who has played his entire NBA career with the Warriors, will join the team again. So far, the Warriors have only announced that they will regulate the matter internally and will not comment on the sentence.
