PROMOTION IN A2, THE STRATI COMMISSIONER MEETS THE GIRLS OF THE NEPTUNE SOFTBALL CITY
“” The Extraordinary Commissioner Bruno Strati met the Nettuno Softball City team, newly promoted to Serie A2. The vice president was present FIBS – Italian Softball Baseball Federation Vincenzo Mignola, the president of the City Mario Atturo and the manager Fulvio Bellobono.
“We wanted, with this meeting in the Town Hall – says Strati – to give the right emphasis to your victory obtained with sacrifice and passion. Neptune is known for its connection to baseball, but it is good to remember that the first team set up in 1947, when this sport arrived on our shores after the Allied Landing, was precisely of softball and paved the way for the legend of Neptune Baseball. This year you have achieved a great result and my wish is that you can achieve increasingly prestigious goals. I am sure that the sense of team you have shown on the pitch will also characterize you in your professional lives ”.
The Commissioner honored the girls on the roster with a bunch of 21 roses, equal to the number of players, and received a hat and an autographed ball from the team. “”
