The Open City of Ceuta ‘VIII Memorial Mustafa Amechrak’ has been held on the Loma Margarita courts since last Monday, September 26, and has put an end to a great week of tennis this Sunday.
At around 9:30 in the morning, the women’s absolute final began between Ceuta Olga Parres, number 1 seed in this tournament, and María Dolores López. The first set was very even until it reached 7-5, but in the second the Ceuta did not give her rival a chance, getting a 6-0 and taking the title.
After the great women’s final, it was the turn for the absolute men’s category between David Pérez and Roberto Chacón, with victory for the first of them by 6-1 and 6-0.
The award ceremony started after 1:00 p.m. at 1:00 p.m. with the presence of the manager of the Ceutí Sports Institute, Araceli García; the president of the Ceuta Tennis Federation, Yassin Harrus, and the head of the Loma Margarita tennis and paddle tennis club, Hamido Dris.
