There were also the Archers of San Bartolomeo at the Piergiorgio Leonti memorial which took place over the weekend in Frabosa Sottana (Cuneo). The Gialloblu from western Liguria, present with 6 athletes, competed in an 18-meter indoor archery competition, organized by the Monregalese archers.
The Archers of San Bartolomeo return home with: a 3rd place by Dario Cosentino, among the masters in the compound division; a 2nd place for Lucia Lenzi in the women’s senior naked bow division. Among the bare bow masters 1st place for Maurizio Gabrielli, 5th place for Beppe Capalbo, 8th place for Davide Piana, who improves his personal best again, 12th place for Salvatore D’Amico. The master team wins first place.
The San Bartolomeo archers will be busy next weekend in Imperia and on 22 and 23 October with the organization of two competitions in San Bartolomeo al Mare: the youth trophy and the friendship trophy.
