Programme NBA : Nets – Raptors et Heat

After the first three evenings of the regular season, the weekend is coming and that’s good because the program is loaded for the days to come. This Friday evening, for example, we will be entitled to 11 matches in total, enough to satisfy our appetite and immerse ourselves a little more in this 2022-23 campaign.

And over here for the recap of yesterday night

# NOT TO BE MISSED

Outclassed by the Pelicans in their opener at Barclays Center, the Nets will have to move if they do not want to take 20 points in the teeth tonight. Because opposite, there will still be very serious since it is the Raptors who arrive in town. The Dinos won their first game against the Cavaliers at home and will want to continue against a Brooklyn team that is looking for itself and that perhaps will never find itself. See you at 1:30 a.m., with a certain Joe Harris, probably in uniform.

At the same time, further south, Miami will receive Boston. Mandatory double screen because it is a nice clash of the East that the NBA offers us here. The Celtics only needed one game to show they were ready to defend their conference throne. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown were fantastic openers against the Sixers and despite the Ime Udoka case still hovering over Boston, Joe Mazzulla’s gang won’t look for any excuses. That’s good because the team opposite either. The Heat lost against a huge DeMar DeRozan on Wednesday night and will be keen to take revenge against the green formation that eliminated the Floridians in the last Conference Finals. In short, big game in perspective.

Still at 1:30 a.m. (decidedly), it will absolutely be necessary to keep an eye on the Hawks – Magic. Because who says Hawks – Magic says Dejounte Murray vs Paolo Banchero. That’s bound to spark some sparks after their offseason tussle (although they seem to have moved on since then), especially since the two shone in the season opener. Dejounte had a successful debut for the Hawks, and Banchero simply added his name alongside LeBron James while ending Cory Joseph’s career.

On the other side of the country, you should not miss Wolves – Jazz and you know very well why. Rudy Gobert meets his former team for the first time after the deal this summer, and we can’t wait to see what he can offer us after his big first game. Then we will continue with a remake of the series of the first round of the Playoffs between Warriors and Nuggets, with the difference that Nikola Jokic is this time accompanied by Michael Porter Jr. and Jamal Murray. Not sure, however, that it is enough to impose itself on the lands of the defending champion, especially when we know that the band at the Joker missed out against Jazz on Wednesday evening. Important to keep in mind, this is Denver’s first back-to-back game, which could impact Michael Malone’s rotations. Murray is notably rated “uncertain”, even if we imagine that he will be more useful tonight than against the Thunder on Saturday.

# ALSO WATCH

  • Zion Williamson and the Pelicans’ second game in Charlotte. The Pels started very strong in Brooklyn, it promises for tonight.
  • Pacers – Spurs, the XXL shock of the night (or not).
  • DeMar DeRozan on the Wizards floor. Something to bring back very painful memories to Washington fans.
  • Detroit’s promising youth moves to Madison Square Garden, it will be worth a look.
  • Ja Morant will cross paths with Jalen Green in Houston. A word of advice: fasten your seat belts.
  • Damian Lillard’s Blazers face Devin Booker’s Suns to close the night, there’s worse as they say.
