Start to show results Signature of agreement that was carried out a couple of months ago between the Education System of Nicaragua, the Nicaraguan Institute of Sport (IND) and the Nicaraguan Judo Federation. This Thursday begins to walk with the delivery of materials for practice and installation in nine institutions and schools in the country.
The agreement’s main objective is to strengthen the judo practice through exchange activities and competitions to be developed throughout 2022; as well as the planning of the next activities for 2023.
“The protagonists and departments that we have selected for the level of practice of the Judo are found Carazo, Chinandega, Chontales, Estelí, Managua, Masaya y Matagalpa. Today we will be delivering the sports material to the Rigoberto López Pérez Institute and the Elvis Díaz Romero Institute to the two schools”; detailed the director of the department of Physical Education of the MINED, Milton Ruiz.
Among the sports equipment they delivered nine tatamis and 450 uniforms. All this is part of the strategy of the school route that is strengthened with the pRotagonism of children and adolescents of the educational community of Nicaragua.
Judo, important sport to promote in Nicaragua
“Yesterday afternoon I was removing participation from school sport at the national level. In primary, intermediate and secondary, the sports that are practiced the most in the country are sports. The participation of the judo, taekwondo, karate y lucha we reach more than 60% of the national territory”; Ruiz stated.
In addition, they announced that next year they will start with the games of the Council of the Central American Isthmus of Sports and Recreation (CODICADER), on an international level; where Nicaragua will be projecting all of its national champions in 14 disciplines.
