Manuel Coccia from Avezzano awarded with the Golden Lily at the Foligno Sports Festival.
Today, 6 October at 9 pm, the San Domenico Auditorium in Foligno will be assigned the ‘Golden lily’, in an evening hosted by Marco Taccucci and Gloria Panfili. An event that has garnered the support of important institutional partners, and which will reward 60 athletes who have achieved podiums in national championships and international results in the 21-22 season. The athlete Manuel Cook class 2007, of Avezzano, registered with the ASD Accademia GJKano Foligno 1963 of the meritorious Maestro Giampaolo Magri and trained by Maestro Agostino Alimonti and by the athletic trainer Diego Martini will be awarded because in the 21-22 season he achieved for Judo:
– the National CSEN title, in Follonica in December 2021
– finalist in the Fijlkam National Championship B rookies in 2021
– finalist in the Fijlkam Cadet National Championship in March 2022
– Absolute Regional Champion Cadet class – Umbria Region.
In addition to Judo, Manuel is registered with theASD Athletics Teramo and in seasons 21-22, he achieved the following results:
– Abruzzo regional champion discus throw 2021
– participation in the FIDAL Italian Cadet Championship in Parma October 2021 in discus throwing
– regional vice champion Abruzzo discus throw 2022
– participation in the Italian Cadet FIDAL Championship in Caorle October 2022 in the shot put.
