Even before the match, riots between supporters of Anderlecht and West Ham marred the European football evening in London. Fighting outside the stadium is said to have been reported.
Once in the stadium, the fans didn’t hold back. Fireworks, bottles and seats flew through the stands. When the police wanted to calm things down, an officer was injured.
