The French women’s table tennis team in the round of 16 of the Worlds

The French women’s table tennis team won its last group meeting on Tuesday, against Brazil (3-2), thus securing second place in the group behind Hong Kong and a qualification for the round of 16 of the Worlds by teams.

Jia Nan Yuan at rest, this victory was ensured by Pauline Chasselin, first beaten by Bruna Takahashi, 21st in the world (3-0), then victorious over Giulia Takahashi (3-0), and Prithika Pavade, winner of her two matches (3-0 against Giulia Takahashi and 3-1 against Bruna Takahashi). Charlotte Lutz lost to Laura Watanabe (3-1).
