The collision occurred as Bills linebacker Tremaine Edmunds made a second inning on Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks with less than a minute remaining in the first half. Jackson’s head seemed to snap back after making contact with Edmunds’ helmet.
“It was definitely a tough move. I saw the receiver still standing, just trying to finish the play,” Edmunds said. “A situation that I obviously didn’t do intentionally. I would never try to do something like that with my teammate. The receiver was up, I was trying to get him down, and unfortunately I ended up hitting Dane.”

“Just watching him move, waving his thumb…obviously it helped a lot of us. It calmed our heads,” Edmunds said.
McDermott said he had a moment to speak with Jackson in the Bills tunnel before the ambulance left the stadium.
