The provincial government delivered tablets to Salta basketball clubs

The Minister of Government, Human Rights and Labor, Ricardo Villada delivered tablets to basketball clubs. The activity was attended by the president of the Salteña Basketball Association, Fernando Palópoli, and 15 representatives of the different social and sports spaces.

During the delivery, Palópoli assured that “the possibility for clubs to access technology is a historic change, going from manual to digital is a huge advance for the discipline.” He added that “10 days ago I spoke with Governor Sáenz, and then with Minister Villada telling him about the regulation that clubs are included in the opening to digital through this delivery of tablets, and the Minister in 24 hours together to their team, they asked us for the documentation, we met all the requirements, and today we are accessing the tablets”.

For its part, Cecilia Heredia of El Tribuno Verdolaga said that “it is a great emotion, because it allows us to enter a digital platform, which is displayed at a national level, and this means that everything we do in Salta basketball can be seen by the whole country. ”.

In addition, he expressed that “it is important to stop using paper forms, not only for an environmental issue, but also because of the immediacy of the information. Using paper forms implied taking them with the times of office work attention. Now while a game is being played you can see the rebounds, assists, 3-point shots, baskets and all the movements on the court live and instantly”.

Finally, he stressed that “the growth is not only of the club, but also of each player in particular since each boy can be seen everywhere”.

Growth and development

Minister Villada expressed that “today basketball in Salta is at a very important level, it achieved development thanks to the accompaniment of many people. Behind that growth are you who, with a lot of effort in each of the clubs, working with boys and young people, have developed a sport as beautiful as basketball”.

Finally, he said that “in these times we have an opportunity, technology grows and is inserted in our way of communicating, working and also in the way we manage sport. When Fernando Palópoli told us about this initiative, he made us very happy to be part of this digital inclusion process”.
