Viterbo – The wait is over for the Domus Mulieris that tomorrow, at the PalaSojourner in Rieti, will play the first official match of the 2022-2023 season in the Serie B basketball championship. The journey started last September 1st, the day of the resumption of training, led the Gialloblù group to the challenge against Elite Roma which, like all the other matches of the first round, will be played in the single venue in Rieti where the Lazio group of the series B will celebrate its Opening day.
After the good friendly test last Saturday against Terni, the quintet led by Carlo Scaramuccia continued to train intensely to get the best of the match against Elite; encouraging news arrives from the infirmary regarding Joana Valtcheva who is recovering from the injury resulting in knee surgery and could at least go to the bench, even if to see her again as a protagonist on the parquet it will be necessary to wait a few more weeks. As every time you start a season it is difficult to have a precise idea of our current value and that of our opponents, for sure the test against Terni was very positive and we hope to do even better against Elite. Two-ball at 12 in what will be the first ever match of the Opening day in Rieti and, consequently, the first match of the entire Serie B season.
