The jury has decided that the ‘Ciega de Manzanares’ will go to Teresa Núñez with ‘Una muerte intimate’ and the ‘Calicanto’ to José Ignacio Tamayo with ‘Dersu Uzala’.

The people who have been proclaimed winners of the national poetry prizes ‘Ciega de Manzanares’ and the short story ‘Calicanto’ organized by the Department of Culture of the City Council of Manzanares are already known. The first has fallen to the Madrilenian Teresa Núñez, while the second is for the Biscayan José Ignacio Tamayo.

A few days ago, the meeting of the jury of the national poetry and short story competitions took place. His ruling has just been made public and, on the one hand, he has unanimously awarded the 21st ‘Ciega de Manzanares’ National Poetry Prize to ‘Una muerte intimate’ by Teresa Núñez González, who will receive a financial prize of 3,000 euros and You will see your book published.

On the other hand, the jury has awarded the 20th National Short Story Prize ‘Calicanto’ by majority to ‘Dersu Uzala’ by José Ignacio Tamayo Pérez, endowed with 600 euros and the publication of the story in the literary creation magazine ‘Calicanto’.
