The crime hypothesis is very serious. These four children, in fact, guests of a community for foreign minors, are accused of being responsible for aggravated robbery against a woman. Or rather, robberies, in the plural. Yes, because there are at least three disputed ones. It all started with the denunciation of two prostitutes, both victims of an attempted robbery followed by violent physical assaults. In short, dangerous boys, despite their young age. But let’s proceed in order.
Very young and violent: boys beat prostitutes and then robbed them
During the morning of 11 October, in the provinces of Milan and Bergamo, the Carabinieri of the Trezzano sul Naviglio station arrested, in execution a precautionary custody order issued by the GIP of the Juvenile Court of Milanat the request of the local Prosecutor’s Office, 4 subjects of Egyptian origin, guests of a community for unaccompanied foreign minors, held responsible, in concert with each other, for the crime of aggravated robbery, committed in the municipality of Trezzano sul Naviglio (MI).
The provision arises from the investigative activity, launched by the Trezzano sul Naviglio Station in June 2022, following the receipt of the complaints of two prostitutes who had been victims of one attempted robbery and two consummated ones, as well as violent physical assault.
The story of the victims and the findings acquired with the investigative activities made it possible to reconstruct in detail three criminal episodes committed between the months of June and July of 2022 and arrive at the complete identification of the authors.
From the investigations conducted, it was found that the members of the gang acted unscrupulously, even armed with baseball bats, with a habitual propensity for aggressionin the context of gratuitous acts of prevarication created because of their resentment towards the Italians.
They went out autonomously at night from the host community to commit systematic robberies against the victims, attacked while they were secluded, surrounding the car, hitting it, and attacking both prostitutes and customers.
The conduct of the suspects, due to the particular aggressiveness that characterizes them, had aroused social alarm in the community of Treviso. The contrasts, due to disrespectful and brazen attitudes, between the gang and other peers in the areahad culminated, on the night of 11 July 2022, with the launch of a rudimentary Molotov cocktail inside the community garden.
Those arrested today were taken to the Bologna juvenile detention institute.
