Hockey Estrie, in partnership with the Cascades Élite AAA/Canimex franchises, the Gouverneurs de Granby, the Harfangs de Sherbrooke and the Victoriaville Minor Hockey Association, announced the return of the Défi mondial 3 x 3 M11 (atom) event. . The event will take place on Sunday, December 18, from noon to 6 p.m., at the Jean-Béliveau Pavilion in Victoriaville.
On half-ice, 10 teams made up of 70 of Estrie’s brightest 2012 hopefuls will compete in a 3 x 3 format in front of their parents and friends, but also in the presence of managers and coaches from the AAA/Elite franchises of the Estrie came to observe them.
The three Estrie franchises will also occupy an information booth to provide players and parents with all the information they need to join a AAA/ÉLITE franchise in the region.
The franchises play in the Quebec Hockey League of Excellence (LHEQ). This League allows first-level student-athletes to evolve in a sport-study AAA hockey program recognized by the Quebec Ministry of Education.
The AAA/Elite franchises and their teams of qualified coaches see to the development of the players’ full potential, both in terms of sporting skills and of the individual in the making. Their mission; accompany student-athletes to take them to a higher level, such as the U18 AAA Hockey League, the LHJMQ, college or university hockey and more.
