And the Viterbo defense held, unlike other games when in the third inning it gave way. The third inning ended with a 4-0 run and even if the Lions attempted a comeback in the last inning, the match ended with a score of 12-11 for the home team. So the first victory of a lifetime for all the Viterbo players to their great satisfaction of the whole organization, of the technicians and of the families and who have always followed them in this adventure of Batti e Corri.
The hits came two from Pietrini Samuele and one from Morelli Valeria, Torri alternated on the mound, soon detected by the very effective Cabrera followed in closing by Pietrini. Both the interiors and the exteriors were very careful and effective, among the exteriors to underline the performance of Mastrocola, who the previous Sunday had made his debut in under 15 with a good valid.
