Annual Latin American Pony Congress began yesterday in the Dominican Republic

Santo Domingo.- With the participation of 13 countries, the Annual Latin American Congress of the Pony League Baseball and Softball began today, in which the guidelines for the next tournaments and the participation of the countries of the Zone will be drawn up.

The meeting is being headed by the world president of the Pony League, Abraham L. Key, who assured that he was satisfied with the work that has been carried out in the Caribbean and especially in the Dominican Republic.

In addition, he assured that this work meeting will result in the work calendar that must be exhausted by the year 2023.

“This activity is to develop the ideas and parameters for the next Pony activities to come, I feel proud and satisfied with the participation of each one of the members of the Pony in Latin America,” he said.

On his side, the president of the Dominican Pony, Eugenio Báez, asked the other participating members of this congress that the results of said assembly be respected from beginning to end, so that future tournaments can be developed with the planning established there.

He also thanked each of the countries that sent their delegation to this congress that takes place in our country.

He highlighted the participation of the world president and his assistant, Ángel Suarez, as well as the director of the Caribbean Zone, Eliseo Serrano, who thanked the support for the development of this activity.

The Annual Latin American Pony Congress will take place on November 11 and 12, at the Dominican Fiesta Hotel in the city of Santo Domingo, with the participation of delegations from 13 countries.
