Blagnac. The BSI archers hit their target

The BSI (Blagnac Integrated Sport) organized, with the Arc Club of Blagnac, the interdepartmental championship of para archery adapted, last Saturday, in the premises of the sports complex of Naudin. Members of the association of course took part in the event and the nine local competitors did well.

“The competition brought together 37 archers, from 6 sports associations, in addition to ours, La Soleillade de Carmaux, Les Thuyas de Monferran-Saves, the Pamiers bow company, Lalala sports de Lavaur, and the Frontonnais archers , indicates Laure Nowak, president of the Caouec club. The competition took place with 10 ends of three arrows in the morning as well as in the afternoon, followed by a snack and the award ceremony (cups and medals). “Moments eagerly awaited”, she assures, before presenting the classification of Blagnac archers, according to the categories: “Veteran male barebow in CD, 1st, Jaoued Arbaoui. Veteran man, barebow in BC, 2nd, Madiou Ghussein. Senior woman, barebow in CD, 1st, Elodie Marty Elodie; 2nd, Marie-Sophie Rabasa. Senior man, barebow, CD, 3rd, Mourad Benrahmoune. Senior Recurve Men, 1st, Damien Larrieu; 4th, Cyrille Castet; 5th, Emmanuel Rigoni. And finally, our youngest archer who was competing for the first time, Cléo Colombo, won first place in the under 18 category”.

An event that will mark a milestone for the president, “a day in good humor and the pleasure of meeting”. Laure Nowak, would like to thank all the players: “the Blagnac archery club for setting up the room the day before and the same day, with the presence of Olivier Perol, the master archer, the municipality, for the provision of the room, Marion Boistard, representative of the League, the departmental committee for adapted sport 31, the referees, sports volunteers, Patrick Gendre and Olivier Berini and those of the BSI, Sylvie Dornier and Rodrigue Duno , without forgetting the BSI athletes who came to encourage our competitors”.
