Always seen in the leading group, Walnut Hope (n° 5) showed tenacity until the end to seize the third place at the expense of the host, Figolu Frazéen (n° 7), also brave as hell. Despite a good effort on the rope side at the end of the course, Flash Gordon (n° 14) had to settle for fifth place. While the favourite, Fame Music (No. 12), disappointed its takers by finishing twelfth.
